VIDEO ASSISTED THORACIC SURGERY FOR TREATMENT OF THORACIC TRAUMA AND LUNG TUMORS: REVIEW OF CLINICAL TREALS

Abstract

The result of 34 video assisted operated patients within two last years was assessed. Video assisted thoracic bullectomy and pleurodesis is associated with better outcomes and short the hospital stay of patients with chest trauma. Video assisted minor resections is the operation of choice to radical treatment of benign subpleural neoplasms. The operation is also useful as first stage in surgical treatment of malignant tumors those localizations.
