https://doi.org/10.51523/2708-6011.2022-19-3-17

Abstract

Anomaly in the development of the body stem is a serious congenital developmental defect and characterized by a significant defect of the anterior abdominal wall with pronounced changes in the rachis and hypoplasia or aplasia of the umbilical cord.
The paper describes cases of anomalies in the development of the body stem in fetuses, the diagnosis of which was carried out during early prenatal ultrasound and at the stage of postmortem autopsy of the aborted material.
