Аннотация
Колоректальный рак является широко распространенной в мире патологией: ежегодная заболеваемость достигает 1 миллиона случаев, а ежегодная смертность превышает 500 тысяч. По прогнозам, абсолютное число случаев колоректального рака в мире в следующие два десятилетия увеличится в результате роста продолжительности жизни и количества населения в целом. Колоректальные аденомы склонны к малигнизации. Последовательность «аденома - рак» подтверждена многочисленными исследованиями. Риск развития рака прямой и ободочной кишки у лиц с аденоматозными полипами в 3-5 раз выше, чем в общей популяции. В связи с высоким риском злокачественной трансформации колоректальных аденом их ранняя диагностика и своевременное лечение являются превентивными мерами по снижению заболеваемости колоректальным раком.
