Часто уменьшение уровня тестостерона, наблюдаемое у тучных больных, ведет к развитию инсулинорезистентности; большинство больных СД страдают избыточной массой тела или ожирением вследствие инсулинорезистентности, которая является одной из ведущих причин СД 2 типа. В исследованиях последних лет убедительно показано, что введение препаратов тестостерона приводит к улучшению параметров метаболического синдрома. В нашей работе мы показали, что гель тестострона является эффективным препаратом для андрогензаместительной терапии у больных СД 2 типа, позволяющим не только восстановить нормальный уровень тестостерона, но и контролировать ряд клинико-метаболических показателей, таких как инсулинорезистентность, избыточная масса тела, липидный обмен, а также состояние костной ткани.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Androgen deficiency in the aging male has become a topic of increasing interest both healthy men and with various endocrinology diseases, including type 2 diabetes mellitus. The low level of testosterone in obese men is reason of insulin resistance which leads to the type 2 diabetes mellitus. Many reports have shown that testosterone replacement therapy leads to improvement of parameters of a metabolic syndrome. Investigation and treatment androgen deficiency allow not only prevent diabetes type 2, but also have a good control of diabetes.
