Цель статьи - анализ современной ситуации с позиции идеологии доказательной медицины в хирургии, определение степени достоверности информации, оценка основных итогов, проблем, связанных с ее внедрением в клиническую практику. В работе приводятся основные результаты, полученные в хирургии с помощью методологии доказательной медицины. Выполнен анализ влияния полученных результатов на повседневную практику и клинические исходы в широкой популяции больных. Обсуждаются особенности доказательной медицины в разрезе хирургической специальности, а также причины медленного внедрения ее методологии в практическую хирургию.

The purpose of article is the review of principles of evidence based medicine in surgery. A prominent aspect of evidence based medicine in surgery is definition of degree of reliability of the information.
