Изучена эффективность аденотомии у детей с гипертрофией глоточной миндалины в зависимости от наличия или отсутствия хронического аденоидита. Установлено, что у пациентов, оперированных по поводу хронического аденоидита в детском возрасте, в отдаленном периоде значительно чаще наблюдается удовлетворительное носовое дыхание, чем у тех, кто был оперирован по поводу гипертрофии глоточной миндалины. Предложено рассматривать хронический аденоидит в качестве положительного прогностического критерия эффективности хирургического лечения. При отсутствии хронического воспаления глоточной миндалины предпочтительной является резекция глоточной миндалины под эндоскопическим контролем для сохранения иммунологической функции оперируемого органа.

Efficacy of adenotomy in two groups of patients (with hypertrophy of pharyngeal tonsil and chronic adenoiditis) was investigated. The investigation revealed that children with adenoiditis have shown better nasal breathing in distant period than children with adenoid hypertrophy without accompanying adenoiditis. We propose to consider chronic inflammation of pharyngeal tonsil as positive predictor for quality of nasal breathing after surgery. In children with pharyngeal hypertrophy without chronic adenoiditis partial adenotomy under endoscopic visual control is more preferable to preserve its immunological function.
