Выявлено, что мутации гена HFE несколько чаще встречаются у мужчин (52,9%), чем у женщин (21,4%); у больных, злоупотребляющих алкоголем (46,2%), по сравнению с малопьющими или трезвенниками (33,3%). При наличии мутаций ответ на интерферонотерапию достигается реже, а в биоптатах печени преобладают фибротические изменения над воспалительными.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The revealing of HFE gene mutations C282Y and H63D in 31 patients with chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis of different etiology was studied. Mutations were associated more often with male sex (52.9%) vs. female (21.4%) and alcohol abusing (46.2%) vs. non-drinkers (33.3%).
