Воспалительные болезни кишки характеризуются хроническим, рецидивирующим воспалительным процессом в кишечнике. В этой статье представлены клиническая характеристика и диагностика язвенного колита и болезни Крона.

Inflammatory bowel diseases are characterised by chronic, relapsing intestinal inflammation. This article sets out the clinical features and diagnosis of ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
