Сердечно-сосудистые заболевания являются лидирующими в структуре смертности и инвалидности в мире. В Республике Беларусь начался бурный прогресс в области хирургического лечения данной патологии. Однако успех лечения зависит от своевременного ее выявления и направления больных в специализированные стационары. Во многом исход заболевания решает подготовка врача общей практики. Существующие учебные программы по хирургии рассматривают вопросы сердечно-сосудистой хирургии в недостаточном объеме. В статье приводятся недостатки преподавания сердечно-сосудистой хирургии в вузах Республики Беларусь. Изложен наш опыт преподавания и даны предложения по изменению учебной программы.

Cardiovascular diseases are leading in structure of mortality and morbidity in the world. Significant progress in development of cardiovascular surgery is started recently in Republic of Belarus. But success of treatment of the patients is strongly depends on in-time revealing and direction to specialized surgical center. Disease outcome mainly decided by basic knowledge of general practitioner. Existing programs in surgery do not open all basic points of cardiovascular surgery sufficiently. Defects of teaching of cardiovascular surgery in medical universities are reviewed in the article. Our experience and propositions are described.
