Цель исследования. Проанализировать осведомленность студентов медицинского университета о COVID-19 и способах профилактики заражения.
Материалы и методы. Использовались методы теоретического анализа философской, психолого-педагогической литературы по проблеме исследования, анкетирования, наблюдения, статистического анализа эмпирических данных (φ* — угловое преобразование Фишера). Выборку исследования составили 156 студентов медицинского университета.
Результаты. Проведенное исследование позволило определить теоретические основы для формирования социальной осведомленности студентов медицинского университета о COVID-19 и способах профилактики заражения. Анализ социально-психологических аспектов отношения к COVID-19 студентов медицинского университета показал, что участники исследования наибольшую опасность видят, прежде всего, в отсутствии специального лечения и специфических лекарств. Свою осведомленность по вопросам пандемии COVID-19 студенты оценивают достаточно высоко, но при этом обнаруживается низкий уровень интереса будущих медицинских работников к новой информации о коронавирусной инфекции.
Заключение. Важнейшей задачей медицинского образования представляется формирование у студентов медицинского университета осознанности использования различных способов и средств предотвращения заражения COVID-19. Профессиональное становление медицинского работника и эффективность его последующей профессиональной деятельности зависят от сформированности его собственных социальных норм, понимания взаимосвязи состояния своего здоровья и использования средств и способов сдерживания распространения инфекции в условиях пандемии.
Objective. To analyze the awareness of medical students about COVID-19 and the preventive strategies.
Materials and methods. The methods of theoretical analysis of philosophical, psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem of research, questionnaires, observations, method of statistical analysis of empirical data (j*-Fisher’s criteria) were used. The study sample included 156 medical students.
Results. The performed study has made it possible to determine the theoretical foundations for social awareness about COVID-19 and the preventive strategies in medical students. The analysis of the socio-psychological aspects of the medical students’ attitude to COVID-19 has showed that above all the study participants see the absence of protocol treatment and specific medications as the greatest danger. The students rate their awareness of questions related to the COVID-19 pandemic quite highly, but at the same time future medical professionals do not show much interest in getting new information about the coronavirus disease.
Conclusion. The most important task of medical education is the formation of medical students’ awareness of using various methods and means for COVID-19 prevention. The professional formation of health workers and the effectiveness of their subsequent professional activity depend on the formation of their own social norms, understanding of the relationship between a health status and the use of means and methods to contain the spread of infection in the situation of a pandemic.
