<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This article provides a review of foreign literature data including a number of aspects that cover guidelines on cancer patient management during the COVID-19 pandemic. The author focuses on the fact that the pandemic has become a serious challenge for the health system not only in the Republic of Belarus, but also has demonstrated a number of problems in the organization of healthcare in most countries of the world. In particular, the pandemic has led to a deteriorated situation with the availability and quality of medical care provided to cancer patients, and periodicals often report a high risk of severe complications in this population group during the spread of COVID-19.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>коронавирус</kwd><kwd>пандемия</kwd><kwd>онкология</kwd><kwd>COVID-19</kwd><kwd>вакцинация</kwd><kwd>онкоскрининг</kwd><kwd>химиотерапия</kwd><kwd>лучевая терапия.</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>coronavirus</kwd><kwd>pandemic</kwd><kwd>oncology</kwd><kwd>COVID-19</kwd><kwd>vaccination</kwd><kwd>cancer screening</kwd><kwd>chemotherapy</kwd><kwd>radiation therapy</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">World Health Organization.
