<trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
<title>Objective</title><p>Objective. To evaluate the expression of G protein-coupled estrogen receptor (GPER1), heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1), and heme oxygenase-2 (HO-2) in patients with chronic endometritis and to determine the importance of these markers in the diagnosis of the disease.</p>
<title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The results of GPER1, HO-1, and HO-2 expression were analyzed in patients with a confrmed diagnosis of chronic endometritis and in patients of the comparison group.</p>
<title>Results</title><p>Results. The expression of GPER1 ≤ 79 % (sensitivity — 100.00 %; specifcity — 95.83 %; +PV — 94.00 %; -PV — 100 %), the expression of HO-1 positive cells &gt; 5 % (sensitivity — 100.00 %; specifcity -100%; +PV — 100 %; -PV — 100 %) are signifcant for the development of chronic endometritis. The endometrial glands in the patients with chronic endometritis express the markers of inflammation HO-1 and HO-2 signifcantly more often than in the comparison group (p &lt; 0.001).</p>
<title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The presented data indicate defects of the enzymes of iron metabolism and non-canonical pathways of estrogen reception in chronic endometritis. The determination of GPER1, HO-1, HO-2 expression in the endometrium in patients with chronic endometritis is a reliable criterion and may be used in the diagnosis of the disease.</p>
</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>GPER1</kwd><kwd>HO-1</kwd><kwd>HO-2</kwd><kwd>хронический эндометрит</kwd><kwd>гиперплазия эндометрия</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>GPER1</kwd><kwd>HO-1</kwd><kwd>HO-2</kwd><kwd>chronic endometritis</kwd><kwd>endometrial hyperplasia</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Научная работа выполнена за счет средств инновационного фонда Гомельского областного исполнительного комитета в рамках проекта «Разработать и внедрить метод персонализированного лечения гиперпластических процессов эндометрия женщин», № госрегистрации 20201765 от 05.11.2020 г.</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The research work was funded by the innovation fund of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee within the framework of the project “To develop and implement a method of personalized treatment of hyperplastic processes of the endometrium of women”, State Registration No.20201765 dated 05.11.2020.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Robertson SA, Moldenhaue LM.
