Материалы и методы. Проведен аналитический обзор отечественной и зарубежной литературы, интернет-ресурсов (PubMed и др.) по вопросу использования стволовых клеток в регенеративной медицине. Результаты . К настоящему времени накоплен богатый опыт как экспериментального, так и клинического использования стволовых клеток с терапевтической целью при заболеваниях сердечно-сосудистой, нервной систем, эндокринных, гематологических, аутоиммунных заболеваниях, болезнях опорно-двигательного аппарата и др. Заключение. Несмотря на успехи и достижения в регенеративной медицине последних лет, все еще остается ряд проблем и нерешенных вопросов. Использование как эмбриональных, так и постнатальных стволовых клеток имеет свои недостатки. Остается до конца не изученным точный механизм действия введенных стволовых клеток. Необходимым также является изучение отдаленных последствий трансплантации стволовых клеток (в частности, риск онкогенеза).</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Purpose: to analyze achievements and prospects of the application of stem cells in regenerative medicine. Material and methods. We performed analytical review of national and foreign literature, Internet resources in PubMed and others dealing with the apоplication of stem cells in regenerative medicine. Results. Rich experience of experimental and clinical application of stem cells in the treatment of cardiovascular, neurological, endocrine, hematological, autoimmune, traumatological, and other diseases has been gained by now. Conclusion. Notwithstanding the success and achievements in regenerative medicine during the recent years, a lot of problems and questions remain unsolved. The application of both embryonic stem cells and postnatal stem cells has its pros and cons. The exact mechanism of the effect of transplanted stem cells remains unclear.
