В последние годы применение препаратов группы статинов в области кардиологии для снижения риска кардиоваскулярных событий значительно выросло. В связи с этим было выдвинуто предположение об эффективности статинов для первичной и вторичной профилактики инфаркта мозга и транзиторной ишемической атаки. Проведенными в последнее время исследованиями были получены разноречивые данные по этому вопросу, что снижает назначаемость указанной группы препаратов неврологами. Особенностям применения статинов в ангионеврологии посвящен настоящий обзор литературы.

The application of statins in cardiology aimed at reduction of the risk of cardiovascular problems has noticeably increased over the last years. In this regard, it has been assumed that statins can be effective in the primary and secondary prevention of cerebral infarction and transient ischemic attack. The recent studies have provided contradictory data on the issue, which reduces the assignability of this group of drugs by neurologists. This review covers the characteristic features of statins in angioneurology.
