Основным органом, участвующим в метаболизме цинка в организме, является печень. Эндогенная недостаточность цинка развивается при хронических заболеваниях печени: алкогольном стеатогепатите и хроническом вирусном гепатите В или С, особенно в случае развития цирроза печени. Многочисленными исследованиями показана целесообразность включения препаратов цинка в стандартные протоколы лечения гепатита. Назначение цинка в комбинации с пегилированными интерферонами более эффективно при хроническом вирусном гепатите C, чем лечение одним интерфероном.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Zinc being a microelement necessary for normal cell growth, its development and differentiation is a component of the catalytic site of more than 300 enzymes and determines the structure of transcription factors, thereby participating in the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and cell division. Liver is the main organ involved in the metabolism of zinc. The endogenous zinc deficiency develops in chronic liver diseases such as alcoholic steatohepatitis, chronic viral hepatitis B or C and, especially in liver cirrhosis. Numerous studies have shown the advisability of including zinc supplements to standard hepatitis treatment protocols.
